VISUAL FASHION & SEWING VOCABULARY

Lately, I been looking more and more at real life fashion design and sewing  information.  I think gaining an understanding of how clothing is designed and constructed in the real world will assist me in creating better 3D clothing models for Second Life and/or other 3D platforms. 

I ran across the following visuals while browsing through the an email Pinterest sends me weekly on boards that might be  of interest to me.  Some of these items I do pin on my various boards to pass along to others.  You might find the following boards I have of interest if you use Marvelous Designer, Blender, Photoshop, Second Life, etc.

The following graphics are pretty much self-explanatory, both visually and  written descriptions.   I have chosen these particular graphics to give you a few ideas for your fashion designs.  It also will give a starting point for reference of what particular styles are Slight changes to necklines, collars, cuffs, sleeves, etc. to a basic foundation piece in Marvelous Designer to have many different garments and/or combinations.
