FITTED MESH FOR SL USING BLENDER 2.70 AND AVASTAR--UPDATED 4/6/2014

UPDATED--APRIL 6, 2014

Gaia has updated her video on "Fitted Mesh" recently.  And, now that I have figured out how to embed videos, in Blogger, I have posted it below, along with the new URL for you.

Gaia Clary has released a new video on using the Skinning and Rigging Panel for "Fitted Mesh"  In this video, Gaia shows how to re-rig existing  mesh clothing with the recently released SL Fitted Mesh Bones.  It is a simple task to updated your mesh.  The video also goes on to show you had to rigged your mesh that has not previously been rigged.

For some reason, Blogger didn't wish to upload this video, so please follow the link listed below.

Please note, you will need the newest version of Blender, which was just released on Monday.  The new version is 2.70.  You will also need to update your Avastar version as well from the Inventory Page you should have booked marked.

In watching the video, and personally IMing with Gaia this afternoon, she states as she has more time, this video will be updated with others.  I would suggest you set-up a YouTube account and subscribe to Gaia's Channel (just do a search under Gaia Clary).  You will receive an email from YouTube anytime Gaia posts videos.

Now how easy is that to keep updated?

I was asking for an updated weight paint video for fitted mesh, especially since Blender 2.70 and Avastar 1.1 is being used.  Gaia, bless her heart, would like to remake all her videos, but like all of us simply no time.  However, I think we will see some updates over the coming months, especially for those of us who are fledgling Blender Users.

Anyway, here's to the coming Spring and the new adventure of fitted mesh!
