SECOND LIFE INTERESTING PEOPLE--GARVIE GARZO
If you have been in Second Life for any time at all, you know Second Life (SL) is really a global community. Striking up a conversation at clubs, various charity events, private parties, while out shopping, taking classes, anywhere you go you will run across all kinds of people from all cultures, walks of life, educational background, interests, etc. from around the globe.
I find it fascinating and very enjoyable to meet new people in SL. Maybe it is because I love learning new things or comparing notes about our differences and similarities. I have found really no matter where we live we share so many things in common.
Over the years, I have met so many interesting and fascinating people in SL. Some are around for a brief period of time while others seem to become part of the SL environment. One of those that seems to have become a permanent part of SL is the illustrious...Garvie Garzo.
|Garvie Garzo-Second Life|
Garvie has been an SL Resident since November 2007. I met her through group chat and classes at Builders Brewery, where she teaches texturing classes (normal via Photoshop) and has begun teaching mesh classes using Blender. She is also a very talented and creative designer, who shares her knowledge via BB classes and answering questions in numerous groups. Garvie freely gives both her time and knowledge back to the SL community.
When I think of people, I generally thing of spices. Garvie reminds me of a spicy combination of red pepper, ginger and cinnamon mixed with a good dollop of honey, which sounds really odd but is really a great combination of spicy sweetness. Her wicked and quirky sense of humor always makes me laugh...I don't always understand it...but, it brings joy to my day.
I feel very lucky to have met Garvie. I think you will like her as well.
If you have not had the privilege of meeting Garvie, why not pay her shop....MeadowWorks...a visit In-World. She has some really nice landscaping items. Or, visit her shop on Second Life Marketplace.
If you want to beginning learning about mesh and Blender, check out some of her classes at Builders Brewery.
Or, check out some of her informational sites. She has a great Blender chair tutorial for a class she teaches in world on Youtube. Also, some very useful information on her blog and at linked sites at Pinterest
